Another one already?

3 March 2005

How about this - for months you don't hear from me and now another newsletter after only two weeks?

Well there's a lot of catching up to do!

In this issue:

  • Steve gets close to royalty (no, not Crown Princess Mary, that other royal that's in town)
  • You asked for it - you got it! Your pictures are now available same day
  • Frankston puts on a party

A new face to the Northern Suburbs

No, it's not our new vehicle photography expert (that story will be in the next issue).

My old buddy, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales decided to drop by my street in Coburg this afternoon to visit the local primary school.

The crowd (including a small but moderatlely enthusiastic group of republicans, centre right) wait patiently for the distinguished guest

Charles smiles at his subjects
"...ew, yes, hellew, marvellous..."

Charles, enthralled by a sack race
"I can't believe I came ten thousand miles to see a ruddy sack race!"
HRH is the centre of attention
"Lucky I love being the centre of attention!"
What am I going to do with these flowers?
"Now. What on earth am I going to do with these ridiculous flowers?"

Your pictures while you wait!

Finally we have invested in a laptop computer. What does this mean for you? You can now have your pictures in your hot little hands same day.

When you are in a hurry for your photographs, let as know at the time of booking, and where possible, we'll arrange to give you a CD soon after the event (30-90 minutes, depending on number & complexity of shots). Cost is generally an extra $100 on top of standard post-production fees - for details, please get in touch.

A big welcome to new client Macquarie Bank, who took advantage of this service. The shoot was at 5pm on Friday, shots were on the client's desk (in Sydney) at 7pm. Another happy customer!

And finally, to bring you up to date with what we've been shooting this year, I can't avoid mentioning the Frankston Sea Festival.

This was my second year shooting it, and true to form, Frankston City Council put on a bigger show than ever, over two huge (and sunny!) days.
